CRISIS can happen to anyone and at anytime, destroy the reputation and public trust, paralyzed the business and reduce the value of the shares as well as the investors. It usually has sudden impacts, which cause the situation to worsen significantly.
Does the company or organization will be over upon experiencing the crisis? YES, if such company or organization does not have the strategy in handling the crisis. Crisis has become the part of the dynamics that needs proper care and become the opportunities if we have the proper strategy.

Brata Tryana Hardjosubroto has a tremendous on the ground experiences in the areas of public relations and communications. After spending his 8 years of career as a journalist at ANTARA News Agency, since 1991 he joined big and reputable companies including with the largest cigarette manufacturer PT HM Sampoerna for 7 years as a Communication Manager, and then as the External Relations Manager for an Australian company PT Coca-Cola Amatil for almost 4 years, and landed as Head of PR at PT Nestle Indonesia, a subsidiary of the largest food and beverages company in the world Nestle SA, since 2001.
He is a member of the Indonesian PR Association “Perhumas”, PR Society of Indonesia and several other social, sport and educational organization including the Indonesian Scout Movement “Gerakan Pramuka”.
Jannus T. H. Siahaan, Director Media, Communications & Licencing PT Inco
Having an educational background in Sociology in USU, Medan and Magister of Sciences in University of Indonesia, he is now pursuing his PhD degree in Sociology Padjadjaran University. In 1991, Mr. Jannus started his career as a reporter in Media Indonesia Daily, and had working experiences in some of companies in New Zealand. In 1995, he came back to Indonesia and joined Liputan 6 SCTV as a news producer, then became Chief Editor in PT. Televisi Manado and as Media and Communications consultant in PT. Prime Strategic Communications within 2 years. Now, he is working in PT International Nickel Indonesia (INCO) as Director Media, Communications and Licensing.
Kristanto Hartadi, Pemimpin Redaksi Sinar Harapan
Starting his career as a reporter in Warta Ekonomi business magazine and almost 10 years of his career in Suara Pembaruan afternoon daily with his last position as a Managing Editor, he is now a Chief Editor in Sinar Harapan since 2001.
He attended many journalist seminars and workshops locally and internationally which sharpen his knowledge and enable him to supervise his 62 journalist. He also has long experiences self development program attended such as international conferences, and journalistic trips abroad. He had an experience as lecture in Pelita Harapan University, Indonesian Christian University and now he is a lecturer on Journalism and Crisis Communication in President University since 2008.

- How to handle the crisis itself (failures, panics and destruction)
- Prevention efforts prior to the crisis (blaming each other, anger and doubts)

- Develop the necessary strategy to face the crisis
- Describe the important roles of the internal communications in time of the crisis
- Describe the important roles of the public relations in time of the crisis
- Provide knowledge on indications, disturbances or issues pertaining to the crisis
